Surrounded by his loving family, Joaquim DeJesus of Relvas do Ourondo, Portugal passed away on October 23, 2010 at the age of 90 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Maria; daughters: Diamantina (Jean Claude), Linda (Joe) and Isilda (Barry); 6 grandchildren: Chris (Kim), Lisa (Nelson), Michelle, Sandrine (Phil), Jonathan and Derek; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; 1 brother, 2 sisters in Portugal as well as numerous relatives and dear friends.

On October 20, 2010 Mrs. Maria DaSilva of Edmonton passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her daughter Maria Isabel; 4 grandchildren: Maryann (Brian), Grace (John), Joe (Kim) & Paul (Kim); 4 great-grandchildren: Dyna, Travis, Makayla, & Jacob; duaghter-in-law Maria Hironding; brothers: Jose (Alzira) & Sabino (Osvalda); sisters-in-law: Liduina & Izara, brother-in-law Gil as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Manuel, her son Manuel, grandson Robert, 2 brothers: Manuel & Joao, 4 sisters: Adelina, Maria, Hirondina & Deodata and her son-in-law Jose Tavares.
