  2. I am shocked and saddened to hear about Andre. My deepest condolences to the entire Sanregret family and especially to Renai and Joel. 5. To the entire Sanregret family. I am shocked and heartbroken to hear about Andre’s passing. His big smile, good humour and bigger laugh made us all better people. He could light up an entire room. He’ll be forever indelibly marked in my memories. Unfortunately I won’t be at the service to pass on my personal condolences to you but my thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you.

  6. I was shocked to hear about Andre’s passing. To me, Andre was always someone who had a positive and upbeat attitude that made you look forward to the next game or to bumping into him somewhere outside of hockey. After talking with him, I always left feeling good and I will miss those chance encounters. Our hearts go out to everyone in the Sanregret family.

  7. Jeanne and Family.
Sorry for your loss. Special Prayers to you & your family. May fond memories comfort you at this difficult time in your lives.
    Love Colleen.

  8. I will always remember playing hockey and slo-pitch with Andre. In hockey, he would come flying down the right wing and let a booming slapshot go. It would either go right through the goalie, or 30 feet over the net and into the stands. In slo-pitch, he would play in the outfield and balls hit to him would always be an adventure. He would either totally miss a lazy flyball hit to him, or make an amazing diving catch that nobody else could make.
He was a great person and will be missed.
    Graham

  9. Sanregrets,

My deepest condolences to you all. Sending prayers your way for strength during this difficult time. I will cherish the many fond memories that I have from my youth, growing up with Andre and your entire family. Please take care.
    Maureen

  10. Jeanne and family – I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved son, father, partner, brother. I remember Andre from those days in the 80s when we spent time at your happy home in Castledowns. Years and years later, I saw his name on a soccer document and reached out to him to ask how his mother was, (I hadn’t seen Jeanne in years and years). His response was so friendly and warm – and he filled me in on the family’s updates. It was obvious that he had grown up to be a wonderful person – and I can’t imagine the void that will be left behind. I will keep all of you in my thoughts.

  11. Our thoughts are with the Sanregret family and all those who knew Andre. It’s been many years since I last spoke to Andre, but his humour, silliness and big smile always come to mind. Something that reminds me fondly of Andre was the mickey he gave me to calm my nerves just before I was married. It was the kind of thing he did. He always had a way of making the most stressful situation turn into something fun. Our hearts are with the Sanregret family during this difficult time.

and support to one another. Peace be with you!
    With love, Alice Pruden
