Bradley Albert Quist
It is with sorrow and sadness, that the family of Brad Quist, announce his passing on January 2, 2017 at the age of 62.
Left to cherish his memory, his wife Christine, daughter Alayna Marynowich, son Brian (Ashley) Quist, grandson Carson, sister Loretta (Norm) Jesperson, sister Phyllis (Gary) Ransbottom, brother Reg (Ollie) Quist, and numerous nieces and nephews.

I worked with Christine and I had the pleasure to meet Brad a few times and he was always super nice and always willing to lend a helping hand. He cut down my fence so I could sell my house, the only person that would do it for me and didn’t mind doing it. I always remember the love that Brad has for Christine it was beautiful. We have such fond memories of your Dad, he was part of our family for so many years, he had a quick wit and so much fun to be around. Terry enjoyed him as a patient – and a camping buddy.
They had many a fun times winter camping at the farm.

We’ve never met and we haven’t seen Brad for a long time, for which I am very sorry, but I have happy memories of Brad when he was still at home with Auntie Ina and Uncle Bert. My Dad, Bill Brooks, was very fond of Brad and Brad would always have remembered his “Uncle Bill.” We will be thinking about all of you on Tuesday. Our deepest condolences to you and your family Christine. I worked for Brad at Western Electrical for a number of years, he was always friendly and helpful to me right from day one. As I grew in my career he was always willing to help me and point me in the right direction, and always reminded me to not sweat the little stuff they’ll come together in the end. When our son Bennett was born you and him were among the first to congratulate Kathleen and I, and shower Bennett with gifts. Brad often asked how Bennett was doing even after only meeting him a few times in passing. He will always be remembered in the Nicoll Household.
We were almost as excited as your family was when Bennett was born. I am very much looking forward to buying a pretty pink dress for the new addition to your family. Thank you so much for the kind words. Brad thought very highly of you.

I will forever have great memories of the Christmas parties with you guys. Brad thought of Dave as a great friend. He suffered the highs and lows right alone with you while waiting for Bennett to get here. He was so excited when I told him about the new grandchild you’re expecting. It makes me smile when I think of all the days Brad would come home all excited about a new recipe from Dave.
Brad loved working for western and he deeply cared for the people he worked with. I will miss the stories he would come home and tell me about everyone’s kids and grandchildren.
Forever in a day, the memories of your Journey with Brad will populate your heart and soul, for which you can embrace them, speak of them and continue to share his impact on your Life, with those around you. Your strength and determination to care, comfort and provide a Loving presence during Brads final weeks, was incredibly touching. He is and will always watch over you & your Family my Dear. Having the opportunity to meet with you and visit Brad in the hospital, I will never forget and I do thank you for that moment in time Christine. My short duration of dealings with Brad at Western Electrical allowed me to experience his passion for success, his attention to detail and the ability to interact at levels that made a huge difference in how I performed my duties. I will miss learning from him and I will cherish the time I was privileged enough to share with him both at his office, in Calgary (during the 2015 Christmas party) and in the hospital. I’m blessed and thankful to have known him above all else. You can and will see this through because of who you are, inside. Deepest thoughts, prayers and respects to you and all your family, during this time and forward.
