It is with extreme sorrow that the Scott family announces the passing of Colin Scott on December 26, 2016 at the Stony Plain hospital. Colin began his battle last March and courageously fought for 9 months -never losing his spirit or will to survive.

Colin was born December 10th, 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta, to John and Wendy Scott. He was the oldest of two sons and survived by his brother Warren. He married the love of his life, Kealey, in May 2011, and had two beautiful children.

Colin worked in the Electrical industry with Epcor as a high power lineman. He was a hard worker and liked by all who knew him, he lived a healthy, active life and will be missed every second of every day.

Colin is survived by his wife, Kealey; son, Callum; daughter, Saoirse; parents John and Wendy; brother, Warren (Erminia, Jessica and Preston) and numerous family members and friends.

  2. Aunty Wendy and Unc…i am usually so good with words but they have simply escaped me. I can’t find any. He simply was a great guy and so well loved. I had a wickedly awesome cousin and so very proud to call him family. I loved him and all you guys too. He will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart.

  9. I just learned of Colin’s passing and am deeply sadden by the loss of a wonderful young man. I was Colin’s Supervisor at Edmonton Police and he was a great employee, who was well liked and respected by all of his co-workers. My thoughts and prayers to his wife and young children.

    I just learned the sad news about Colin’s passing and wanted to send my deepest condolences.

    I got to know Colin when we worked together in Police Information Check Unit where I had the privilege of calling him a friend who was always supportive and kind to everyone. I will remember Colin as a true gentleman who had great sense of humour, work ethic, passion for health/fitness/movies/camping and often spoke of his love for all of you (family and close friends).
