It is with great sadness the family of Dale Carleton Gavel, born December 27, 1951 announce his sudden passing on September 12, 2015

He leaves behind his wife Trish; sons: Craig (Brenda), Scott (Marjorie); stepchildren: Anthony (Pam), Sarah (Jon); parents, Carl and Nadine; brother Sheldon (Pam); sister Charlene (Mike) and father-in-law Alton (Carol) Trail.

Dale will be greatly missed by his pride and joys, grandchildren: Brandon, Ashlyn, Kaedence, Marcus, JJ, Harlei, Ella, Anthony and his special little girl Chinook as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Dale was predeceased by his granddaughter Kherrington Faith; grandparents Willard and Mary Gavel and his mother-in-law Sylvia Trail.

There will be no service at this time as per Dale's request. Memorial Service and interment will be held in Canterbury, NB.

  19. I can feel your sorrow today as i have lost a son, a brother , a husband a father and a grandfather. I remember Dale such a cute little fellow and then when he was older. He will always be remembered i am sure with love and they will all miss him dearly you are all in our prayers God Bless

    As the widow of Brian Gamble, I did not have the privilege of knowing Dale but remember Brian talking about him over the years of our marriage. I know Carl & Nadine, Charlene and Mike and their children. My stepdaughter Krista let me know earlier this week about your great loss. She and Kari have talked about their uncle many times. May you know the comfort of family, friends and special memories.

  24. I only learned of Dale’s passing today. Charlene told me he was a victim of diabetes and had struggled with it. Being a severe diabetic myself, I have great empathy with the terrible struggle he must have had. My sympathy to Nadine, Carl, Charlene, Sheldon, and all your family members. He is gone too soon.
