January 13, 1984 – April 9, 2015
It is with profound sadness that the family of David McDonald announces his sudden passing on April 9, 2015 at the age of 31.
David leaves behind to mourn his loss, his parents Bruce and Wilma McDonald, sister Christie Hooper, brother in law Jason Hooper and 2 nieces, Kaitlin and Lauren. He also leaves behind his very special girlfriend Monique Bunyan. David also leaves behind his grandmother Maxine McDonald, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
David was predeceased by his grandmother Mary Veenstra, grandfathers Gilbert McDonald and Steve Woelinga as well as his infant brother William (1982).
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday April 15, 2015 from 7-9 pm at Trinity Funeral Home, 12134 66 Street, Edmonton, AB.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday April 18, 2015 from 12-4 pm at Beverly Heights Community Centre, 4209 111 Ave, Edmonton, AB.

Hi Wilma and Bruce and family, By coincidence I heard this very bad news. I am thinking of you even we donot know each other. We have children as old as Christy and David. This was told by my father Tjalling Droogsma, the brother of your mother Maaike (Mary) . I wish you all the strength you need and will think of you.
