DIANE SÉNÉCAL LAROCHELLE

Diane Sénécal Larochelle passed away peacefully on September 21st, 2017.

Originally from Quebec, Diane and Guy moved to Edmonton in 1999. Diane became well known in the community where she established her residence. Diane enjoyed travelling, outdoor activities and gardening, but had a special passion for animals and for the practice of her beloved golf. More importantly, Diane excelled in the art of conquering the hearts of her friends, leaving a lasting impression in everybody that she met throughout her life.

Diane is survived by her husband Guy Larochelle, her aunt Rita Doherty Ledrew, her uncle Ken Doherty and his wife Betty, as well as by a very large number of close friends who will miss the warmth of her smile and the grace of her voice. Diane’s extended family invites you to participate in a celebration of her life, which will take place at Trinity Funeral Home located in 10530 – 116 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.

Tee time is set for 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, October 15th, 2017.

  2. I’m so sad to hear the news of Diane’s passing. I knew Diane from her time working at VIA Rail in Montreal. She was one of the kindest people you could ever ever meet. Always had a smile and made you feel like you knew her all your life. So easy to talk to.

  3. Diane, Shauna and Karl will miss your warm smile and especially your giggle which was always in plentiful supply. Karl will miss practising German with you it was a special treat to say a few words back and forth. You will always be with us in our hearts. We are thankful for the time we had together and for your and Guy,s patience when we played golf at Blueberry Hill gulf course when it took all afternoon to play 16 holes. But it was fun for us to play with you and Guy. We love you and Guy. The Lord has you now and we will look up from time to time and shout a hello to you so keep your ear open for us.

    Brian & I were very saddened to hear the sad news of Diane. She was a very warm person whom we met with her and Guy on the VIA train and it was instantly that we connected.   13. Diane was someone who brought light to all around her. She had a special spark and when you spoke with her you knew she was focused only on you. Kind, gentle, sweet, loyal, dedicated were some of the words I’d attribute to her. I remember days at VIA Rail when she’d come around the corner to see Guy in his office and would stop to chat at my counter. Lots of laughs shared. God Bless you Diane .
