Gerri Livingstone (73 yrs.)

January 30, 1944-May 27, 2017.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Geraldine Mae Livingstone on May 27, 2017 following a short battle with cancer, her family by her side.

She is survived by John, her loving husband of 50 years, as well as two daughters Brandi (Alex), and Holly, two grandchildren, Chelsea (Erik), Braeden and son Shawn. Gerri leaves behind her brother Phil Wirtz (Kathy), sister- in-law Jeanne and many nephews, nieces (their children) and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, one brother and one brother- in-law.

Gerri was born in Ionia Michigan and spent most of her years growing up in Grand Rapids before moving to Canada in 1967.
Her dedication to her family will always be cherished as will her sense of humour, kindness and love for animals and her flower gardens.

Our family would like to express our deepest appreciation to the Doctors and Nursing staff of the Grey Nuns Hospital and Norwood Palliative Care Unit. Their compassion to our mom as well as her family will not be forgotten.

In keeping with Gerri’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services shall be held. Friends, who wish, may make a Memorial Donation to the Edmonton Humane Society in her name.

  1. My deepest sympathy for the whole family.
