On September 2, 2016 Joao & Maria Nascimento of Edmonton passed away suddenly at the age of 93 and 81 years.
Left to cherish their memory are numerous relatives, friends and neighbours.

They were good, gentle and noble persons with a profound religious dimension of life.
May God grant them the eternal reward in heaven.

To the friends and family of Joao & Maria, my most sincere condolences in what is a senseless act. We live very close to where the Nascimento’s did, often passing their house on walk with our dog. May you stay strong during this difficult time, and know the entire city is crying for teo beautiful people.
I am sure the entire Portuguese community in Edmonton is grieving the tragic passing of
Joao and Maria, they will be missed by family and friends. I pray eternal rest is granted to them. For those who walk with God will reach their destination.

Please accept our sincere sympathies on the tragic death of Umbelina and John. We are so very sorry they are longer with us.
