It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of their loving Father Kenneth Orville McAmmond on 12 April 2017 in Edmonton, AB. He will be sadly missed by his 4 children; Amber (Tony), Kenny (Tiffany), Sarah, Ainsley and 5 grandchildren; Eric, Ryan, Jacob, Grace, and Kenzy.

He was born on, 13 April 1959, in Winnipeg MB, predecessed by his Father Orville McAmmond, Mother Theresa Savignac and Brother Robert McAmmond

He served in the Royal Canadian Army for 3 years in the early 1970's where he was the youngest in Canada to received his basic parachute course.

He work as a pressman for 30 years, he was very proud of his job, and loved speaking about it to anyone that would listen. He was a hard working man who wanted better for his children than what he had. He was very active in his children's activities as they were growing up. Where he would always volunteer as a coach.

The cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.

Ken liked to have some good conversations . I remember him stopping in at my moms place many many years ago when he still lived in Winnipeg . Good conversation was always had .
    Keep all your memories fresh in your Heart , Ken will always be remember and never forgotten . Rest High on That Mountain Ken !!!!

  3. So sad to ear the news, your aunt Shirley called me and also send me an e-mail to informe the familly in Quebec province. Kenny was my cousin, on my mother side, sister of your grand mother Terry, my mother was Irene. I only had the chance to meet Amber once at a young age and he loved her so much, no surprise he had 3 more, he had so much love to give.

  6. So sorry for your loss. Cousin Ken was a good man,we did some growing up living right beside each other on Magnus ave. I fondly remember how proud cousin Ken was when joined the armed forces, how he loved political discussion, how proud & happy he was of becoming a father. I will always have fond memories of you Kenny. Rest in peace.
