September 13, 1962 to January 23, 2017

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 23, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife Maritza, daughters Jacqueline (Dallas) and Michelle (Jared); his mother Sharon; his sisters Cindy (Enio) and Jody (Scott) as well as many close extended family and friends. Predeceased by his father Morley.

We would like to thank all the wonderful Neuro ICU staff and all the incredible supportive staff of the Hope Program.

  1. Our thoughts and prayers go out to The Cook, DiCurzio and Smadis Families during this very difficult time. Kim is in a beautiful place with Morley right now. May they both Rest in Peace.

  2. Deepest sympathy to Maritza, Jacqueline, and Michelle! We have so many fond memories of Kim, especially at Buck Lake: playing cards, riding in the boat, and many good laughs around the campfire! Kim had such a great sense of humor. He will be missed greatly. Love Carrie, Jamie, Jade, & Zach

  3. I would like to take this opportunity to send my deepest sympathy to you Maritza as you have lost a Husband, soul mate and best friend. And to Jack and Michelle you both lost a Dad and best friend as well. No words can ever ease the pain, but cherish the memories that you all shared together and Kim may be gone, but not forgotten and will always be in your hear and no one can take the memories away. My heart breaks for you and the family. I am sorry for your loss and if you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to let me know. Stay strong and rest in the Lord, He will guide and comfort you.

  4. It is with deepest sadness that we hear of Kim’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family although we did not know you we knew of you through Kim and he spoke very highly of his family always. I had the honour of working with Kim for the past 15 years off and on and I’m very sad that I didn’t know he was ill. His kindness and goodness showed always and even after his passing by donating his organs. May he rest in peace and his memory be eternal. He will be missed. Jamil Dow and Family
