Trinity Funeral Home offers a number of number of options available to finance your pre-arranged funeral plan. By clearly understanding the advantages of each option you can select one that best serves your needs and fits within your budget.
* To assist you in selecting the best program for you, we are including an example with each option. In each example, the following information was used:
Funeral Type: Traditional Burial
Funeral Cost: $6500.00
Person’s Age: 65
Financing Options
Single Payment - Purchaser makes a single payment of $6500.00 payable to Unity Life of Canada. Funeral home service fees & merchandise costs are locked in and protected from inflation. Some additional items such as the obituary are NOT protected from inflation. Be sure and ask your pre-arrangement counselor to indicate which items are not protected.
One Pay - Purchaser makes 12 equal monthly payments of $541.66. There is no interest charged with this option. Funeral home service fees & merchandise costs are locked in and protected from inflation. Some additional items such as the obituary are NOT protected from inflation. Be sure and ask your pre-arrangement counselor to indicate which items are not protected.
2 Pay - Purchaser makes 24 equal monthly payments of $311.48. Interest charges apply with this option. Funeral home service fees & merchandise costs are locked in and protected from inflation. Some additional items such as the obituary are NOT protected from inflation. Be sure and ask your pre-arrangement counselor to indicate which items are not protected.
3 Pay - Purchaser makes 23 equal payments of $215.60. On the 24th month the purchaser must pay the difference owing plus a $200.00 administration fee payable to Unity Life of Canada. This is the best option as it allows you to pay the entire funeral costs in only 2 years for a nominal $200.00 administration fee. This option also carries a policy where if the purchaser passes away in the 2 year time period, the balance of the funeral is covered by Unity Life of Canada as long as the purchaser is not terminally ill at the time of signing.Ex. 23 x 215.60 = $4958.80Funeral cost was $6500.00 so the difference is $1541.20 ($6500.00-$4958.80)
Final payment amount is $1541.20 + $200.00 admin fee for a total of $1741.20

4 – 15 Year Plans - Purchaser makes equal monthly payments for the term of the payment option selected. Interest charges apply with 4 -15 year payment options. Funeral home service fees & merchandise costs are locked in and protected from inflation. Some additional items such as the obituary are NOT protected from inflation. Be sure and ask your pre-arrangement counselor to indicate which items are not protected.
