Robert C Schmidt passed away suddenly, on July 28, 2017, at the age of 60.

Born on August 20, 1956, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Robert was placed into the foster care of George and Theresa Kurtz. He attended St. Andrew Catholic School and Miller Comprehensive High School.

Bobby was an avid runner, loved curling and various other sports, especially his beloved Saskatchewan Roughriders. He joined the military and was an MP until he had to leave to become a single dad to his two children.

Bobby is survived by his two sons John Paul and Patrick, three grandchildren Carter, Miley and Jordan, and sister Maureen (Doug) Hyde.

  6. Condolences to family and friends. Bob was one of the good guys and was always smiling. If that was a good or bad thing depended on what side of the prank you were on. I worked with him in Calgary a long time ago but I never forgot him.
    See you Paki. Keep my spot open brother.

    We were roommates off base for a short time in the summer of 85, a very generous guy!

  12. Bob I was sorry to hear of your passed, but when offer the opportunity to be a pallbearer was I honoured. We had some great time together created memory I’ll never forget. You are a good friend that never asked for help but always help other without question. You will be sorely missed. RIP
