but we have to accept,

  1. We are so sorry for your loss and can’t imagine how difficult it must be. Kirk was always there when you needed help and I always appreciated how organized he was. It’s just a huge shock and words are difficult to come by. Take care and our thoughts our with you.

  2. Kirk was a wonderful man and will be dearly missed. I worked with him for far too short a time, but in that time he left a great imprint on me and I feel blessed that I got to know him. I too am a father of two, and I cannot imagine the pain that you must be feeling. My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope that you are surrounded by people who give you strength and support during this very difficult time.

  3. Kellie, I was very shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news about Kirk. Although it has been several years since I have spoken to you, please know that you are in my thoughts.

  4. Kellie, Tyson and Cohen,
You may not know me or remember me, but I worked with Kirk at Wiebe and worked very closely with him at his job with CNRL. He was an amazing mentor, a tenacious go-getter and a great friend. I offer my deepest condolences. Having a lovely wife and two kids myself, I cannot tell you how much I have been thinking of all of you and how deeply sad I am. I am so so sorry for your loss.

I want you to know that I will be donating to the trust and am telling everyone I know to do the same. If I can do anything to help, please let me know.

  5. I worked with Kirk for a few years in his consulting days and kept in touch with him a little bit over the years at various conferences. I always appreciated his positive attitude, the smile he always had on his face, and a hearty chuckle to go with it. I have only good memories of him. My thoughts are with you at this time.

  6. My sincerest condolences to the Skocylas family. I cannot begin to imagine how difficult this must be for you . I had the opportunity to work closely with Kirk on and off over the past two years. He was truly a great man and he will be missed. My thoughts are with you.

  7. To all Kirk’s family you are in our prayers and thoughts at this difficult time. I know I will remember his freckled grin. You have many treasured memories that will see you through. HUGS to all.

  8. Dear Skokylas clan,

It was with great sadness that I learned of Kirk’s illness then passing. We were childhood friends in Sherwood Park. If I were back home I’m sure I could dig up a few pictures of Kirk and our pals at my 7th or 8th? birthday party. We stayed in touch until after high school then went our ways, but I never forgot him. His infectious snicker. Such a fine guy. Solid friend and so very well liked by so many. I’m so sorry for your loss and can only imagine how hard this must be to not have more time with him. Best wishes from Taiwan – where I’m living, and I’m sending as much love and peace as I can to you all.

  9. We are so very sorry to hear about your loss . There are no words but you are in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time

  14. Kellie and Family.
I was in shock when Brent told us of Kirk’s cancer and passing. I worked with him for a few years here at Earthmaster and remember how bold and confident he was. His smile was easy and he always had a shine and pride in his eyes when he spoke of you and your boys. I got to see him when attend conferences and I will greatly miss that time where we shared a life update and reminisce about our consulting times at Earthmaster.

The man that I remember will be missed and I am sending you love and healing energy to you and your family. My deepest heartfelt condolences.
