The family wishes to announce with great sorrow the passing of Allan Yurko of Fork Lake, AB. (Formally of Harry Hill, AB.) On November 24, 2018 at the age of 72 years, he lost his battle to cancer. He fought hard and remained strong to the end.

He leaves to mourn his wife Linda, son Chad, grandsons Justin, Tyler, and Ethan, great grandsons Ashton and Hunter, brother Ted(Sylvia), nieces Charlene, Theresa, Laura, Marcie and nephew Dean.

Predeceased by daughter Chantel, father John, mother Annie, sister Shirley and nephew Brian.

  5. We were so sorry to hear of Al’passing.Fork Lake has lost another one of it’s Hereos.Al was always so kind,helpful and giving of his time. Whether it was to lay down a carpet, fight fires or plow the beach he was always there. May he rest in Peace.

  6. Alan will be missed by family and friends. I had the privilege of working with him in the hospital during his illness. A sense of humour and kindness came through.Condolences to Linda, Charlene and family.

  7. So sorry to hear about Al. He is not suffering anymore. My mom had ALS and I now how hard it was to watch them go threw that much pain and unable to do anything about it. Ben & I where in Orlando for 3 weeks and just got back Thursday and where unable to attend the funeral. Please take care of yourself and enjoy your grand kids as they do grow up to fast. Al will be missed but never forgotten especially at the lake when we drive by the lot. Take care. Always in our memory

    So sorry to read about your loss off both Chantel and Allan. I have thought of you and Allan a lot over the years, and wish we had not lost touch with one another. I remember Allan as being lots of fun.
