September 5, 1956 - October 12, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andre (Randy) Francis Butt on Saturday October 12, 2019.

His memory will be cherished by his wife and best friend Becky of 42 years, his son Cory (Amanda) his daughter Stacie (Steve) his beloved grandchildren Austin, Aaylah, Analeigh, and Hazel, his sisters Betty (Jim) and Karen (Ian) as well as many extended Family.

Randy is predeceased by his parents Helen and Harold, his grandparents Elizabeth and Jim, his sister Trudy and his brother James.
There will be no memorial service at Randy's request. Condolences can be expressed through Trinity Funeral Services. In memory of Randy, any donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

  1. Rest In Peace, you were one of the good guys! Time passes and we move on, but memories always remain! I enjoyed working with you at the Garrison and getting to know you. I offer my sincerest condolences to all of Randy’s loved ones,I know he will be missed. ?

  4. When I first heard this news today sitting at my desk, I was overcome with moments of sadness for his family but quickly this was replaced with smiles from the memories of knowing Randy. I have not spoken to him in a few years now, but at one point he was a very close friend so many years ago. Both he and Becky have provided me with some extremely fond memories and for that I am eternally grateful. I am sorry to hear of his passing so young but so thankful to have known Randy and having had him in my life.

  5. Rest in Peace Randy. Always joking, always smiling and he took the time to help my career even though I wasn’t one of his section underlings. He will be missed !

  8. Becky I just keep thinking about Randy it is hard to Believe he is gone, back in Cold Lake he was a great Friend always smiling and as some one else mentioned he would do anything to help a person out. He will be Missed but not forgotten.

You were a great friend to all who knew you, and Im sure at this moment in time your up there making new friends. We send our condolences out to all of Randys immediate family.   12. Randy was a to true friend and a a man of men. The most I will remember him for is his honesty. Everyone always knew where you stood with him.
    He always told you the truth whether you liked it or not.
    My friend was an old fashioned soldier who expected you work hard for him and in return you would gain his respect. the lucky ones would gain his friendship. This my friend I will miss most from you and all the coffee meetings we had. Always entertaining.
