Randi, I will always have very fond memories of your mom. She loved you so much. Kerry was one of the funniest kind hearted ladies I’ve ever known. I could tell endless stories of her antics that will always make me laugh. It was heartbreaking to see Kerry struggle these last few years and now she’s with so many that went before her, pain free and at peace. Although I did not have the opportunity to know Krystyna personally, as the President of the International & Heritage Languages Association, I have come to appreciate the remarkable legacy she left behind.

The stories shared by those who knew her highlight her professionalism, generosity, commitment, and genuine care for students, families, and the community. The work she contributed to continues today, reminding us that the strength of our heritage-language communities is built by those who dedicate themselves to the generations that follow.

On behalf of IHLA, I extend my deepest condolences to Krystyna’s family, friends, former students, and the Polish community. Her work, values, and love for language and culture will continue to live on through the many people she touched.

Oliver was one of the kindest people I’ve every had the pleasure to meet. I only knew him a year and he made a huge impact on my life. He showed genuine care to someone he didn’t know that well. He was a ray of hope in my life. My condolences to everyone who knew him.

My heartfelt condolences to you all. I was fortunate enough to spend time with my cousin Oliver during my visits to Canada. We laughed and talked about our childhood in Germany. I will always remember those times.

Ignore people’s Ai version, from the heart as his brother Patrick….I wish I had more time to to listen to ur stories share a meal or ur favorite movies. I remember quality time building his driveway at the acreage and as a child he built me a modest size ice rink in backyard cause he knew I loved skating and outdoors. I love U Oliver.
