Daniel Zuke

January 14, 2018 19 Condolences Print Obituary Send Flowers

God saw he was getting tire and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whispered, “Come with me.” With tear-filled eyes we watched him suffer and fade away. Although we loved him  deeply, we could not make him stay. A Golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.

Love Elsie and Family.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife Elsie, children Chris (Joan), Gene (Louise) and Dani-Lynn and their families.

At Daniel’s request, cremation has taken place and no services are to be held.

  5. My condolences to the entire family.

I remember growing up in Beverly, your dad had the coolest car in the neighborhood… his 1970? Grand Prix .. Absolutely Spotless!, pale yellow with black vinyl roof. I have never forgotten it!

May your memorable moments fill your hearts during this difficult time!

  6. So sorry. I remember many happy times at your place when Eugene and I were a young couple. You both always made us feel so welcome. Vickie Martinuk

  7. My condolences to the family. Danny was a great story teller and he would always walk into the control room with his ear plugs still in and spoke very loudly because he couldn’t hear himself speak. We would jokingly tell Danny to take his ear plugs out because we weren’t deaf…great times.

  8. Gene & Louise sorry for the loss of Gene’s dad, our prayers & thoughts are with you at this time. May God watch over him.

  9. I had the privilege of working with one of the hardest workers at Celanese. He was like the energizer bunny always working and willing to help out. It might have been all that sugar that he put in his coffee. Like Ric said all of us that worked at Celanese learned a lot from Danny. My condolences to the Zuke family during this time of lose lean on the Lord to help you through this time of sorrow. God Bless.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

  17. Dear Elsie and family
We were so saddened to hear of Danny’s passing. He was a kind and caring neighbour, willing to share his expertise and tools. One day when Dale was mowing the lawn, Danny came over with a pair of ear-plugs for him – and from that day on, Dale always made a point of using them — he was that thoughtful.
Danny was always willing to stop and take time for a chat. He will be missed.

  18. My condolences to Gene your Mother and all the Zuke Family. Not only did I know Danny from where we worked but also from the Andrew/Willingdon area. I’ve always enjoyed the interaction with him. I’ll never forget Mr. Zuke when if he forgot your name he’d just say “Hey Kid” to get you attention. RIP Danny.
