It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Modesto Araujo on January 13, 2018 at the age of 47.

David will be remembered by his mother, Oriana; sister, Maria (Brian); brothers, Jaime and Luis; nephews, Matthew and James; and nieces, Victoria and Daveney; as well as numerous family, friends, and colleagues. He was predeceased by his father, Jose in 2009.

Dave was an terrific brother and I will miss him greatly. I still fondly remember my trips to Montreal and every once in a while I pull out the photo albums and it bring a smile to my face.

  7. David showed his love and dedication to his family through his actions, not simply in words. He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand. He was in many ways a man of the earth, always doing something with his hands and hard at work. He lived life to the fullest and gave his time passionately to all whom he knew. We will miss him dearly. Dave, may your soul find eternal peace and happiness in the presence of God.

Although we live far away I still feel a connection to all of you and such a great loss in my heart. I remember David as being very caring, fun loving, adventurous and always ready to pull a prank. He will always be in my heart and may he rest in peace in God’s house along with uncle.
