On December 31, 2017, Edward Smilar passed away.
Ed is survived by his wife Donna, children Sherry Smilar (Theo Smit), Rhonda (Mark) Fischer and Susan (Neil) Fairhurst, grandchildren Cassi, Donovan, Andy, Peiter, Ty and Kaleb and his siblings Doris Thompson, Steve (Rosemarie), Henry and Vicki (Bill) Pinchin.
He is predeceased by his parents, sister Mary Wanchuck, aunt Bessie and uncle Metro Kulyk.
At Ed’s request, no funeral will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bissel Centre in Ed’s name.

I am truly sorry to hear about your husband.
I am doing my own geneology research and believe he was my 4th cousin on my mothers side metro kulyk would have been my great great grandfather, he had a son named Joseph kulyk who married Pauline kabatoff, who had my grandma Beverly turnau. I am trying to find out where his parents came from as his info is unknown.
