  1. Thinking of you all at this sad time. Love and prayers are with you all. May Gary Rest in Gods Hands always. ??❤

  2. Gary, for sure will miss your friendship and smile! As you know, Roger and I are in Italy and won’t be here the day of your funeral. As it happens we are in Turin (Torino) that day. As we are on a pilgrimage, we are celebrating mass daily in a different parish. Some things happen for a reason, and we discovered today (we leave tomorrow) the mass will be at St. John Bosco, the Basilica of Maria Ausiliatrice where we will see the tombs of St.John Bosco. We will be visiting the Church of St. John the Evangelist where Don Bosco started his second oratory in the city. For those, not aware, this is the name of Lorraine and Gary’s church here in Edmonton.

We are travelling with Father Joseph Vadassery, Rector of Corpus Christi Catholic Parish (Millwoods). He will be conducting mass in Gary’s name and Roger has been asked to do a reading (in his Oilers jersey in honour of Gary!) We will have it video taped to share with the family…. Love and prayers to you all……..Cheryl and Roger
