Giorgina Christina (Fidenato) Clement
June 15, 1961 – September 7, 2018
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and nana.
Giorgina passed away peacefully on September 7, 2018 at the University of Alberta Hospital after numerous complications and a long courageous battle due to cancer.
Giorgina was born in Blairmore, Alberta on June 15, 1961 to her loving parents Giuseppe and Addia (Cisilino) Fidenato. She later settled in Edmonton, worked numerous jobs until starting her seventeen-year career with Service Alberta where she also made numerous friends.
Giorgina enjoyed many past times some of which included reading, gardening, baking and time out at “her happy place”, the lake. She had a love of animals and enjoyed long walks and quiet times with her two loving dogs Jasper and Jasmine. Giorgina was a kind and generous individual who put most everyone’s needs ahead of her own, especially when it came to her close-knit blended family. She loved to laugh, even at herself. She had a beautiful smile and a laugh that was contagious to most everyone she met. Giorgina was strong willed and didn’t often hold back when something needed to be said.
She is predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Addia Fidenato and eldest sister Luigina.
Giorgina is survived by her husband Paul Clement; daughter Christina Van den Bon (Dave Ainsworth); stepson Conrad Nalesnik (Amy); sisters Julie Bulloch (Gord) and Rina Ferraccoli (Randy); niece Elysse and nephew’s Jim and Paul; and her grandchildren of the heart; Jake, Thomas, Liam, Charlotte and Jude.

Angel of our hearts you will forever be missed but deeply and dearly remember in our hearts and souls.
We had so much fun shopping and having lunches together.
Now you are the angel to everyone. The veil between heaven and earth is very thin we will feel you close to us daily.
Christina – so saddened to hear about the passing of your mom. She was beautiful inside and out and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. Please know that I am always here for you. You, Paul, and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Giorgina was like a ray of sunshine with a contagious smile, a musical voice and a beautiful heart. Many mornings at work I couldn’t help but feel better after chatting with her and I sometimes wondered how she did it to be shining that bright so early in the morning! I am truly sorry to hear of her passing and I know she will be missed in the many hearts that she touched. May you find comfort in your memories.

My condolences to Paul and family. I worked closely by Giorgina. It was so easy to become friends with her. We connected easily as she was Italian and my husband is too and I am French and so is Paul so we use to bug each other and would say oh your so Italian or your so French. We had a lot of good laughs every day and some sad days but I would always try and lift her up and she would do the same to me as I lost my sister 2 years ago to darn Cancer and we would comfort each other when we needed it. We also shared books together, recipes and would bring each other snacks to try, I loved her beets and pickles she would bring too and stories about being at the lake and how it was truly a happy place for her and I. She was always so full of life and she will be truly missed by her big smile and love for life of her family and friends. Take care
There are no words, I am so very sorry for your loss. Work will not be the same without Giorgina’s laugh, big smile, and even brighter personality. Our thoughts and hearts are with you all and she will forever be in our memories.
