My favourite memory of Glen was when we went to the Dîner en Blanc in Edmonton in which we spent countless days making sure everything was white we had from our table, chairs and outfits – he was the life of the party at the event and was so proud of his white tux and top hat!! We both had time of our life that evening! I will forever remember his lively wonderful spirit! He will be sorely missed by every one of the thousands he touched in his life. • HI Allan..this is your cousin Suzan Shaske. I just found out last night (April 29) of Glenn’s passing. I was not aware that he was sick or that he had passed away. I was very very sad to hear this news. If I had known I would have visited him in the hospital and attended the funeral. Although I did not see Glenn much, I have wonderful memories of playing with him at the farm. He was full of life and I remember how he used to make me laugh so much. I just called your Mom and had a nice long visit with her. Glenn was a wonderful cousin..he will be missed. Take care..

  26. Thank you everyone for all the kind words and thoughts for my uncle Glen! He was truly one amazing talented person that had a smile that could light up a room! Uncle has done lots of acting in his life, which he really seemed to of enjoyed, because it defiantly showed! He was Outstanding and of course I had to brag about it a bit, on just how cool it was to have an uncle that was an actor! One of my favourites was when he played as Vergil on that old show Viper, episode White Fire, as one of the bad guys!! Not only was he talented , but he was one amazing brother, son and uncle! You will be missed uncle and I’m so glad we got to spend lots of time with you and grandma! It’s gonna be super quite going to visit her now with out you there and things will never be the same! We Love you!!

  29. This is a complete shock. I can’t believe he’s not here anymore. We were friends for thirty + years. Glen was always bubbly and fun to be with.
Wicked sense of humour, big heart, warm hugs and his laughter.

  30. You came across my mind today. I posted a picture of us on my FB and wrote the following:

“Every once in a while this fantastic human being comes across my mind. Those of us who knew you, still know you… miss you too.”

I also texted Susan, told her that every once in a while when I think of you… I actually get to talk with you.

  31. I’m sorry I’m so late in sending this but I just found out. My heart goes out to Glen’s family. He was a genuine, funny person who I met when I moved to Calgary ages ago.
