Keith Owen Tattrie

September 11, 2019 5 Condolences Print Obituary Send Flowers

It is with great sadness and heavy heart the family of Keith Owen Tattrie announces his passing after a long illness, on Saturday September 7, 2019, at the age of 76 years in St.Albert, Alberta. Keith will be lovingly missed by his wife of 17 years, Heather.

Previous to settling down with Heather - his life’s passions were spending lots of time with his buddies at the Legion, his motorbike and his discerning eye for women...he was a real charmer.

Keith was also known for his many pet peeves such as cigarette butts on his driveway, crying children in restaurants, slow cashiers, dog poop on his lawn and many, many more...

  1. I know Keith’s passing is going to leave a huge vacancy in my sisters Heathers life. He was a real character, he made her laugh and made her feel secure in life. Two things that were very precious to her among many other qualities he possessed. I miss him lots.

  2. My condolences to Heather. You are the one that has taken care of Keith over the last 17 years and we his family in Nova Scotia thank you with all our hearts. I, unfortunately, only saw my big brother less than 5 times in the last 19 years. He moved out west and I moved to Florida. Keith remained in Dartmouth when my parents and my siblings moved to Greenwood in 1960; he was 17 and I was 6. He and my sister Barb and her husband Joe were very close. He was my big brother, he was handsome, funny and very cool. He lived with me and my family in Dartmouth in 1984 for 9 months and I finally got to know him. But then he moved out west again. All my best to you Heather.

  3. RIP, not a mention of his children he left behind?. I hope his life was happy, but I have so much to say but why bother, his first born

    • Hello Sherry
My name is Jan and I am Heathers sister. She asked me short notice at the funeral home to come up with an obit for Keith because she was too upset at the time to take on any more on her plate. She looked after Keith until his last breathe without ever thinking of herself. So of course I jumped in to help out. I’m sorry I didn’t have his family names and places he’d lived. I did the best I could under very trying circumstances.
