Kevin Robert Stone Jr.
Kevin Robert Stone Jr, of Edmonton, AB, passed away on Friday January 22, 2016, at the age of 36.
Left to mourn his passing are his sister Carrie and her 2 children Brandee and Brianna, brother Billyjoe and his daughter Leela, father Kevin Stone Sr., beloved friend Alex Bouchard and numerous other friends and family.
He was predeceased by his mother Brenda Stone, maternal and paternal grandparents, cousin Joseph Jr Stone, and 3 uncles Dennis, Patrick and Joseph Stone.
His artistic talent, strong will, amazing sense of humor and carefree spirit will never be forgotten. Even though his journey was long and sometimes rough, he made the best of it. His strength and courage will give us comfort when we feel the sadness of our loss.
At Kevin’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held at a later date.
I met Kevin at the Glenrose when he was living at Norwood while he was being fitted for a prothesis. I am a Nurse and an Arbonne consultant. Kevin knew “product” better than me and we hit it off immediately. I visited with Kevin over the last 4 years and he was a “pure joy” to spend time with! I will miss his sense of humor and how special he made others feel. A very kind and gentle man.
Blessing to all of you! He was the bravest toughest man I knew! To go through what he did and still smile and joke around and dance showed the biggest spirit I’ve ever seen! Miss you Kevin! ??
I met Kevin in high school where we had some classes together and we would laugh and tease my sister lol. He had the greatest sense of humour and we had fun together. You could always count on Kevin to send out positive vibes on Facebook and put things into perspective. The world is a little less bright without Kevin in it! He will be missed.
