  1. I have very happy memories paddling with Fred & Madeline on the North Saskatchewan River on canoe trips with the Northwest Voyageur Canoe Club.
They really enjoyed their Nautilus canoe & Madeline was always a cheerful & friendly person.

    • Thank you for remembering Madeline as a passionate paddler. She was in her element when in the canoe. The family is sad to loose our matriarch.

  2. We all lost a wonderful person. I lost my aunt and I will never forget her smile and laughing!
Even if we split by an ocean, we are family!

As Queen Elizabeth II said: “Grief is the price we pay for love.”

    • Thank you cousin Klas. We are sad to loose our family matriarch. Hugs from Canada

  3. I have many memories of canoeing with Madeline and Fred with the Northwest Voyageur Canoe club. We were also warmly welcomed to their home on many occasions. I will always remember Madeline’s twinkling eyes, laughter and good times shared.

    • Thank you Annabel. We are going to miss her laugher, her huge smile & those twinkling eyes too.

  4. i didn’t know Madeline , but from the lovely comments its obvious she was a special person. Having been through the loss of a close family member i can truly sympathize . When i was feeling very low i found actual relief by turning to the scriptures . When i read in revelation 21:4 that God will wipe away our tears and how pain and suffering would one day end it was very soothing. Please take a minute to open your own copy of the Bible and meditate on messages it contains. It will surely help you as it did for me.

  5. Please convey our condolences to the Narten boys and families re Madelines passing .A neighbor for many years It was always a pleasure to chat with her on my walks down our lane A very pleasant lady with a perpetual smile .
May she rest in peace .

  6. Never i will forget my big sister. She was every time my idol.
    I’m very sad.
