It is with great sadness, we announce the loss of a very special mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and aunt.

Margaret will be very dearly missed by her children: Mairead, Fiona (Pedro) and Donnacha (Erin) and grandchildren: Lucia, Shannon, Dillon, Malik and Latif. She will also be missed by siblings: Annette, Eamonn, Mary, Joan, Elizabeth, Noel, Rosaline, Paul, Peter and Patrick Cavanagh with their families.

Margaret will be remembered for many things including her deep faith, her beautiful Irish spirit and her relentless commitment to social justice.

She was also an avid storyteller, as well as a brave and compassionate person. Her impact on the world and those who knew her will be felt for a long time to come.

  2. Sending sincere condolences to the loving Family (and friends) of Margaret (Rita) Kane. Losing a dear loved one is so painful. May the love of family, friends, and above all, our Heavenly Father, give you comfort and strength. May you also find strength in the tender words found at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.

    We look forward to the time when God’s Kingdom replaces funerals with happy reunions; a time when tears of joy will replace tears of sorrow and death will be no more (Isaiah 25:8).

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rita was always great fun to talk to and to spend time with. Really enjoyed her last visit to Ireland.

  4. I am praying that God will give you the strength during this difficult time. Take comfort in knowing she is resting in the arms of our dear savior and one day you will meet her face to face in heaven.

  5. Our sincerest condolences to Donnacha ,Mairead and Fiona and the whole family on the passing of your Mom. We had the privelege of meeting her on many occasions. She was a lovely lady. May she Rest in Peace.
