  1. Dear Sirianni Family,
My heart goes out to you. You are all in my prayers and thoughts. I am so sad to hear of the passing of Olindo. Him and I were friends since kindergarden, we grew up together. So sorry for your loss. I have only wonderful memories of him. (Olindo thank you for being such a good friend to me. I will never forget our laughs together). Your presense here will be missed. R.I.P My Friend – Until we meet again.

Our sincere condolences – The Marques & Ayed Family

  2. Elvira and family,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

    Love Erin

  3. Olindo was a great friend to me. I met him when we were in Grade 7. He had this great head of hair and an even bigger, funnier personality. He always had something funny to say. I will always remember what a great artist he was. I can definitely remember the friends and laughs we had, with Carly, Julia, Brett, Ehldar, and Phong during our Grade 7 years. We remained friends through Junior High and High School. Rest in Peace Olindo, you are forever remembered in my heart.

  4. So sorry to hear about this tragic news. Olindo was by brother Nicola’s friend. I remember him as being such a nice guy. My condolences.
    Graziella (Alampi)Piano

  5. Elvira and family so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  6. Rest In Peace and may your family find solace in this stressful period. May God take care of you and your family. I was not a close friend, ( as I am an introvert by design), but I always remembered him as a polite person who loved to make people laugh.

He also was a passionate Azzurri fan who met the typical stereotype: Soffirie sempre: lottare mai. In our teen years we watched them suffer, but in 2006, the joy came and the pain went away. Now he watches over his family and his Azzurri as the 12th man.

In addition, his passion for being an artist was inspired by his Italian heritage looking at the past greats to create/inspire his works.

Furthermore, his passion for Nintendo and the video game/console industry was unparalleled. His take on the industry rivalled many of the great business/tech analysts. May your spirit guide them as well.

May your soul find rest in Heaven where it could not on Earth. One day we will meet again and chat about the Azzurri, Nintendo and Giotto. Alla prossima puntata.

Condoglianze alla famiglia Sirianni dalla Famiglia Cardile e Dio resta con voi in questo periodo duro: da Franceso, Francesca e Bruno Cardile.

  7. The best of my childhood friends…the strongest of my early memories.

    I will never forget you.

All my love to Margherita, Ottorino, Elvira and Enrico.

  8. Our sincerest condolences to your family, many years have passed but memories will always be present.

  18. I worked side by side with Olindo for the past two years. He was a patient and generous teacher as he showed me the ropes in the beginning, and I quickly learned of his passion for art, gaming design, cooking- and we also shared many stories of having traveled in Japan. I am shocked and saddened by this loss, my heart goes out to Olindo’s family and friends.

  19. Enrico, when I saw you the other day, I was not aware that you lost your brother. I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. May God keep you in his loving arms. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. J Stewart.

  22. I worked with Olindo several years ago, as I was the one who hired him on with Nintendo. His infectious personality won we over. May he rest in peace.

  23. Hi Sirianni Family,
We have not met, but I just wanted to let you know that I just got news of this information today. I worked doing Nintendo promotions with Olindo in the earlier to mid 2000s, and I still remember my first impressions of him.
Olindo came dressed up in a shirt and tie, long hair, with a clipboard wanting to know what it would take to work for Nintendo. He seemed very formal and serious at that time. About 6-12months later, the Nintendo Wii came out and about 2006 was when we first worked together as he got wish of working for Nintendo (Edm and Cgy). Our friend/co-worker nicknamed him “o-face”, and after he learned that was our nickname for him, he could not stop laughing. Neither could the rest of us. Another nickname that we gave him because of his shaved head and goatee was “karnov”, a video game character. I cannot remember a time of not smiling and laughing with Olindo, but he is definitely a friend or ex-coworker that you do not EVER forget. I always admired his energy and his positivity.
Here is a Bible quote which in my opinion is extremely fitting for him:
    Ecclesiastes 4:9 NIV
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work.”
Prayers for your family absolutely. Olindo will definitely be missed.
