  1. Sad to hear the loss of a Sapper and Combat Diver, Peter Brown. He was affectionately known in the Army by the nickname “Rubber Man” owing to his physical dexterity and toughness. Remembered as a superb soldier, always taking care of buddies and a valuable member of the team. I had the privilege of serving with Peter in 22 Field Squadron, both in the Field Troop and Combat Dive Section. There was no day in which you would not find a cheerful smile on Peter’s face and his positive demeanour. Well liked and loved by his comrades in arms. Sapper & Combat Diver “Rubber Man” Peter Brown will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
Rest in Peace Peter, your duty is honourable done.
