  1. condolences to diane and andrew and don

i will always remember rae for his kindness and his gentle nature and his generosity

many years ago he gave the princely gift of his very own peugeot ten speed to my brother grant, who valued and loved the bike for the freedom and mobility the bike afforded a newly minted teen

on grant’s passing, sister michele inherited the bike, finding great comfort in its association with grant … sadly, bike and lock were later lifted and carried away by a bicycle thief; one hopes it gave the same pleasure to its new owner

rae was truly a good soul, and he once shared this song with me, fitting for many, but certainly fitting for rae and for me in retrospect, looking back over the years and what life gave us

    thank you rae

  2. We only found out today of Rae’s death and even though we only met Rae for the past 8 years at tax time, he influenced us greatly. His positive attitude, trust in God, hard working ethics even after he was a double amputee and needing to get to his second story office without an elevator. What a role model he was on how to live ones life to help others, and honor God. My brother recently said the good die young, those with “Hutspa” (Hebrew word for cheeky, brazen) live long lives. What a warrior Rae was and we will miss him. Our condolences to his family.
