Ralph Spencer Goddard

December 9, 2019 26 Condolences Print Obituary Send Flowers

August 29, 1945 - December 6, 2019

Ralph passed away at home in Beaumont surrounded by his family. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Joyce, of 53 years; Sons Brad (Tari), Mike (Chris); Grandchildren Kristy (Sheldon), Jonathan (Jennifer), Jon (Sarah), Shanelle(Landon); Great Grandchildren Samantha, Georgia, Lily, Cooper and Hayden; Mother Bobbi; Sisters Holly (Stan), Margaret (Jack); Brothers Doug (Suzanne), Tom (Liz), numerous nieces and nephews; pre-deceased by his Father Spen in 2010.

Ralph attended many schools - graduating from Salisbury Composite High School in 1964. He worked briefly at Sherritt Gordon, then started his career in welding and refrigeration. He worked in this industry for 50 years as a technician, manager, business owner, designer, and consultant, in many different countries, specializing in refrigeration for artificial ice. During that time his passion for farming never wavered - he always found time and energy to fit in some farming. This is when his hobby of collecting and restoring antique tractors surfaced, which he continued for many years. His retirement led to a motor home, trips to warmer climates, such as Palm Springs, for golf as well as work.

One of Ralph's greatest pleasures was being able to help someone else, no matter the challenge. His family was very special to him and included in that circle are some close friends who were like family to him.
