Para Gilberto e Maria Martins e Duarte, rogamos a Deus que vos dê forças e ânimo para suportar a dor imensa que neste momento vos aflige e ofereça ao Walter o repouso eterno.

  2. I miss my friend. Walter was kind, funny, giving, caring and a gentle soul. He was admired by so many people and his helpful manner was so appreciated. I’ll miss our talks, our laughs and our serious (or not so serious, depending on the day) sharing life conversations. He brought joy to the lives of those he was surrounded by and I’ll always be grateful that I found a friend like him.
I feel so very blessed for the time we had together in friendship. The world is a sadder place without you here. Until we meet again…

  9. Walter was a true professional in his important purchasing role. I’ve worked with Walter for many years as a key supplier to NCA and Brock White and had tremendous respect for the thorough, accurate and professional manner that Walter always portrayed in his purchasing position, buying my products and keeping his company well stocked and ready to do business. I am so thankful that I was able to get to know Walter in our occasional lunches together away from the office. Rest In Peace Friend.

  10. Oh my sweet Walter. I never called him Walter his nickname was Willy Walter.. not sure where it came from but it stuck.. I worked with Willy for 7.5 years and can say we probably got in one argument. He was the most laid back chilled guy I knew and just went with the flow. Every Christmas he would make his homemade kaluha and bring it to work and share it with all the staff but would always give me extra cause we were pals. ? i would sit in Willy’s office when I was bored or having a bad day and we would vent to eachother, those were the days. Then we started walking and doing the stairs together at lunch and would laugh and cry all at the same time. Willy did good he was running up them at one piont. When my mom passed away I was off work for a while and every week Willy would check up on me and give me the gossip at work. He really appreciated my situation as I know he has a strong connection with his mom as well. Willy was very hard working at work and at home. I would give home daily shit that he needs to go home. He would start work around 8:30 And not leave for 12+ hours .. i would say now listen Walter nobody else works that here everyone is here for 8 hrs why are you staying for so long. All the work that you stay late for can be done the next day and if it doesn’t happen oh well. Walter always agreed with me. But still stayed. I remember the day he told me he was you going to Vegas his first real holiday.. was was super excited for him. I think after Vegas he started to get the travel bug. I could go on for hours about Willy Walter, he was a special guy the most down to earth fella I have ever met and i know for a fact i Will never meet another guy like him in my lifetime. To his mom and father and brother.. it saddens me that I have to give my condolences to you at this time as Walter was a young buck just waiting to start his life . Cancer isn’t fair. Know that I pray for you and think about you everyday. Rest in peace Willy!

  11. There are no words to describe how completely heartbroken I am. You were truly one of a kind and I will miss you terribly. Thank you for your amazing friendship !! Rest in Peace my friend.

  13. Our hearts at ABF Freight are saddened with the news of the passing of our long time customer and friend. Walter was such a kind man and always exercised fair business practices. He would share stories of helping his family decorate for Christmas, which was a big deal for him. He spoke of his love for family and the camping adventures they shared. 20.
