Wayne Douglas Hill
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Douglas Hill.
Born Sept 17 1943 in Toronto Ontario and died January 16 2021 in Devon Alberta at the age of 77.
Wayne grew up in Ontario and ventured to the West Coast for work with a few stops on the way. He then followed his daughter Kimberley and her family to Alberta where he lived out his final years.
Known to many as Weiner or Wayner depending on what part of the country you had the privilege of knowing him, he had a love for fast cars, sports and his grandsons. Young at heart, Wayne was always up for an adventure and enjoyed road trips, especially if it involved a pub with a warm lucky and a Leafs game.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Kimberley, Ella and Carolyn. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life will be had when the time is right.
