  1. I had the honour and pleasure to meet my Uncle John, and Aunty Pam when they visited England when I was growing up. I have always remembered how friendly, caring and loving they both were towards me.
I remember how Uncle John would show great interest in my hobbies, and in me as a person; Memories that I will treasure. Thank you Uncle for being a truly lovely man and uncle. I send my love to all my family in Canada.

  2. I am saddened to hear of the passing of my Uncle John. I remember the trips that he and Aunty Pam would make to England and the Canadian gifts they’d bring. I vividly remember phoning Uncle John when I was 21 and asking if I could come and stay with them for a holiday. When I arrived, I was welcomed by Uncle John and he ensured I saw as much of Alberta as he could. All of my trips have created memories that will last a lifetime.

I could not have put things any simpler than what my wife, Laura, said after I heard the sad news. Uncle John is just a very welcoming, kind and lovely man. I am saddened that my son, Owen, never got to meet his Great Uncle, but I will tell him all of my memories.

All of our love to Aunty Pam and all of our family in Canada as we celebrate the life of Uncle John.

    Clive, Laura & Owen
