Eugene Ralph Zapf

On December 10, 2025, Mr. Eugene (Gene) Zapf of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years (Sheelah Ann Zapf). Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Patricia (Robert) and his son William (Tanya); six grandchildren: Jessica, Dylan, Madison, Blake, Riley, and Maxx; great-grandchild Ryder; as well as many dear friends.

He proudly dedicated his working years to the Canadian government, serving for 50 years as a Chartered Professional Accountant. He spent his retirement traveling, experiencing new things (went skydiving for the first time at 74 years old), and cheering on his grandkids at their various sporting events. He loved Florida, his family, taking pictures, Cracker Barrel, and the dang Red Sox. He will be missed by all who knew him.
