Mike Sheremeta
On April 13, 2026 Mike Sheremeta of Edmonton, passed away in his sleep at the age of 90 years with his family all around him.
Mike was born on November 10th, 1935 to Walter and Annie Sheremeta in Prosperity, Alberta. He was raised with strong morals, honest ways and hard-working values.
On June 10, 1960 Mike and Evelyn were married and they proudly raised three sons in Edmonton.
Mike will be missed by his children Dwayne, (Wanda), Randy (Sandra), Doug (Colleen). Seven grandchildren, Kelly, Kristine (Mark), Michael (Sabrina), Richard, Spencer (Kyle), Jack and Tommy. And six darling great-grandchildren Curtis, Calvin, Alina, Logan, Annabelle, and Emerson.
Mike will be dearly missed by Rosanne Stachniak. Mike also leaves behind his remaining brother Walter and sister-in-law Ann Sheremeta. Mike was predeceased by his parents Walter and Annie Sheremeta, siblings; Mary, Nick, William, Ann, John, Jean as well as Peter and Eva who died in infancy.
Throughout his ninety years, Mike had a love for growing plants and flowers, raising birds and fish, painting, playing cards, dancing, going to the gym, coffee at A&W and visiting with his family.
