Marianne Stone, of Edmonton AB, passed away April 20, 2026
At the age of 68
Diagnosed with colon cancer and
Dementia (delirium)
Leaving behind her two sons"Robert and Shane "whom loved her more then she knows. Mom was loving and caring and always put me and Shane first, no matter how hard things got in life.
She was beloved by family and friends, she was kind too all people and animals
Except (bees) mom did not like bees.
She loved Pepsi, the color purple 💜 and teddy 🧸 and socks with designs
(She had so many socks)LOL
she loved reo speedwagon and music 🎶 from the 60s to the 80s.
She loved dirty dancing (the movie) I think she was in love with Patrick Swayze, LOL she loved top gear
(Video game) she was a pro,she loved board games (monopoly)and others
Moms favorite TV shows Columbo,
Mr.bean,impractical jokers, Hudson and Rex,just for laughs gags and many others.
With that all too the side,she will be missed and for ever loved 💜💜by everyone 💜💜

Robert:I love you mom 💜i will forever think of you and when I feel sad I will think of the greatest life you gave me because you know what too do too make me happy 😊..you can rest now mom no more pain...(it's all good no worries) I will always be your magoo 💜💜 I will bring you home that is what you wanted 🏡💜
And please give Shane the strength he needs too harness the pain in his heart and release it,too give him joy and happiness through tough times in his life.

Shane:words can't explain the heartbreak im feeling right now with waking up in the morning not seeing your smile 💔
Waiting on your chair outside for Robert and I too come home from work or me hiding in your room come bedtime too ambush you with good night kisses and hearing your giggles.
You raised us to become adults with good morals all by yourself mom💜💜
Robert and I are going too miss you till the end of time!

Cremation will take place for mine and Shane's mother Marianne
There will be no service or gathering
It will be just us.
I was saddened to hear the passing of Marianne. She had a gift of the gab and a fantastic sense of humor. For those of you who don’t know, she negotiated selling me Roberts truck for a mere case of Pepsi and $50. I am still waiting to hear back from Robert if that is a fair deal 🙂
Marianne always spoke fondly of Robert and Shane and there was no doubt of her unwavering love for both of them.
Ill miss seeing her sitting outside on her chair, enjoying her can of Pepsi and the warm sun. Ill also miss having her ask me: Shouldn’t you be in a time out? That always made me laugh.
