In Loving Memory of Betty Balanko (née Nass)

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the tragic and unexpected passing of Betty Balanko (née Nass), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and love touched countless lives.

Betty shared 62 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, Edward. Together they built a life rooted in love, loyalty, family, and unwavering commitment. She was a cherished mother to Greg and a much-loved mother-in-law to Rebecca. Nothing brought Betty greater joy than her family, and she was a proud and loving grandmother to Evelyn, Harrison (Keegan), and Madisson, who were the light of her life.

She is also lovingly remembered by her twin sister, Bernice (Ben) Simon, as well as her many treasured nieces and nephews.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, Martha and August Nass; her in-laws, Nick and Katarina Balanko; brothers-in-law John (Jay), Roman, and Steve Balanko; and sister-in-law Victoria Balanko.

A loyal and devoted wife, caregiver, mother, grandmother, and friend, Betty gave endlessly of herself. She carried immense pride in her family and found her greatest purpose in caring for those she loved. Her strength was quiet but steadfast.
