Born on Monday, January 21st, 1946, in the picturesque town of La Serena, Laura grew up surrounded by the natural beauty and rich culture of her birthplace. She was the cherished daughter of the late Hernan and Julia Cortes, who instilled in her a deep compassion and dedication to the care of others.
Laura dedicated her life to the nursing profession, serving selflessly as a Registered Nurse. Her commitment to her patients and the profound impact she had on those she cared for will always be remembered. Throughout her career, Laura was known for her kindness, gentle touch, and unwavering dedication, which inspired many nurses who followed in her footsteps.
Beyond her professional life, Laura was a devoted family member and friend. Her warmth, wisdom, and generosity touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend who embraced life with a contagious enthusiasm and radiant smile.
