Silvina DeMedeiros Viveiros

Silvina Viveiros, aged 94 of Edmonton Alberta passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026 in Edmonton Alberta after a long and well lived life.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Gil Viveiros; parents: Manuel Fragoso and Maria Jose Fragoso; her brothers: Eusebio Fragoso and Dinarte Fragoso; sister Crisalda Fragoso.

Silvina is survived by her daughters Filomena (Vern), Sonia (Viriato); grandchildren: Kristiann (Roberto), Melissa (Michael), Kristopher (Jacqueline) and Mitchell (Alexandra); great-grandchildren Aricella, Armando, Miguel, Claire, Amália, Caleb and Ária.

Silvina was born and raised in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Açores, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1960. She loved spending time with her family, baking, sewing, and praying regularly.

She will be fondly remembered and solely missed.

Our family is grateful to know that Silvina is finally at peace.
