Wayne Eldon Bayers

Wayne Eldon Bayers passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 66.

A dedicated pipefitter and longtime member of Local 488, Wayne worked hard and lived life on his own terms. He loved travelling, with adventures taking him to Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, and Norway.

But Wayne also loved the road itself. He enjoyed riding his Harley with friends and family, and throughout his life he had a real appreciation for anything with a little horsepower. From his Harley to his nice trucks and Corvettes, Wayne loved his automobiles.

Wayne could be a lone soul at times, fiercely independent and comfortable following his own path. But along that path, he made friendships and memories that will live on with the people who knew him.
