I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. Sandie was always very hospitable and friendly to members of the O’Kurley family. I use to enjoy taking the bus when she would be driving. She had a keen sense of humour and we would laugh the entire trip. She was a very nice person. May she rest in eternal peace and may her memory be a blessing always. Sandie was very proud of her children spoke lovingly about you all. I am sending you prayers of peace and comfort during this very sad time.

  5. My deepest sympathies to the family.
Sandra was such an amazing person. I remember the time I got “adopted” into the family as Holly and I went to Saskatchewan to her cousins wedding. All the Aunts and Sandra were chatting and having a great time.
I also learnt how to make home made perogies at her place with Holly during Christmas many years ago. Those skills I will be sure to pass on to my little ones.
Sandra I loved your spice for life, my you rest in peace.

  6. Your mom hired me as your live in “nanny” when I was in high school! She taught me how to save money & held my hand to get me to college! She took me to see Tina Turner and we got all dressed up – what a great memory! She loved dancing, doing her beautiful long hair in curls & getting all dolled up! She loved her babies so much and kissed you all endlessly! She held you like you were little “glass bubbles”. I’ll never know where she got all her strength to travel to work so far every day and still run a tight ship at home! She was an amazing cook too!! She had a great impact on my life and who I am today. I’m sorry she was so sick near the end and although at times she struggled to show love, deep down inside, it was always there. I’m sorry kiddos for your tremendous loss & please know, you’re loved.💕💕 Mamma Jack💕💕

  7. My condolences to Sandy’s family. I worked with her many years ago, she always seemed to manage a smile.

    • Thank you Larry!

  8. Known Sandy for many, many years as she and my mom, Denise (Kratky) were ETS drivers together for decades. Sandy and I shared a birthday! Will remember her as no-nonsense, hard-working, generous and quick-witted. RIP and condolences to all. Michelle

    • Hi Michelle,
Thanks for your kind comments! We also remember your mom and have fond memories of her.

      Thanks again!
      Amber
