It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Major Voutier, age 47, of North Sydney Nova Scotia, who past suddenly the evening of August 28, 2025. Gary was a loving father, son, brother, friend and grandfather to his 2 beautiful granddaughters.

Gary was a quiet guy with a soft soul and a heart of gold. He would light up the darkest room with his smile and infectious laugh.

Gary loved spending time at home with his family. Hanging out in the garage, playing baseball or dazzling people with his long list of card tricks.

Gary was the son of Loretta Marsh, Gary Voutier Sr. and late Ella Mae Voutier who was like a second mother to him. He will be remembered by his four sons, Cameron, Brady, Gary and Kolby. His three brothers Kevin (Cindy), Chad (Carrie), Greg (Sarah), a long list of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He will forever be missed by his two granddaughters Emilia and Viola. Gary was grandson of late Lawrence Marsh, Irene & Cecil Voutier and survived by his grandmother Bernadette Marsh.

A small celebration of life will be held in Edmonton Alberta on September 6, 2025 for family and close friends.
