Agnes Theresa Rivet (nee Haydak) ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on January 5, 2018 in Camrose at the age of 88.

Agnes was born to Anna and Joseph Haydak on April 28, 1929 in Vilna Alberta. She was the youngest of six children, Mary (Mike) Jacejko, Cecilia (Pete) Kotuza, Helen Repka (Bob), Kathryne (Walter) Yaceyko and Rosalind (Pete) Bodnar.

Agnes married Louis Rivet on August 23, 1954, she was predeceased by her parents, her husband Louis, sisters Mary, Cecilia and Helen.  She leaves to mourn her children Betty Johnson, Albert (Candace), Debra (Ken) Miller and Bernie. Her grandchildren Jennifer Johnson, Leslie Johnson (Jeff), Michelle Cartagena, Brandon (Sierra) Rivet and Tamara Miller (Taylor), and two great-grandchildren Austin Cartagena and Eli Miles, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Agnes’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.

  4. Please accept my deepest sympathies with the passing of your dear Mom, Agnes. I remember her fondly as I worked with her in Stock and Production, Imperial Oil, early 1970s. May she rest in peace.

  5. I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing Betty. I’ll always remember her laughter. I woke up this morning I realized it must be your birthday so I checked to see if you were on line and came across your mom’s announcement. I had a nice visit with your mom a few years back. It brought back a flood of childhood memories. All the best to you and your family. And Happy Birthday!
