Arthur Joseph Allarie
May 5, 1929 – March 17, 2021
With fond memories and sad hearts we announce the passing of Arthur Allarie on March 17th at the age of 91 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Arthur was a gentle hearted kind man who enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching sports and spending time with family. Arthur will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years Pauline, his children Lorraine Jex, Phil (Joan) Allarie, Diane (Troy) Poliakiwski, daughter-in law Bonnie Allarie. Grandchildren Bruce (Erin) Allarie, Colin (Alicia) Allarie, Kelly (Kimi) Jex, Raeann Lafleur (Jason Lukan) and Dylan Lafleur. Great Grandchildren Skylar, Dakota, Devin, Miles, Nate, Briar and Riley. His sister Therese Nelson, Brother Alcide (Esther) and sister-in-law Henrietta Allarie.
He was predeceased by his son Gerald, his parents Arthur and Maria and 9 brothers. The family would like to thank all the staff of Chartwell Griesbach and Kipness Centre for their compassionate support and care.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 10430 – 61 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6H 2J3.
Our condolences to all the family. I fondly remember Uncle Arthur when we were growing up in Jarvie, and later at family events throughout the years. Take care.
