On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, our beloved Bridget passed away at the age of 86 with her daughter by her side. She is survived by her sister Anne, daughter Emma and grandchildren; Carl, Brian, Vicki, Sheri, Angela and Eric, 15 great grandchildren, plus aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bridget was predeceased by her mother; Emma Langford Smith, father; James Smith, brothers; Michael and William, sisters; Theresa, Mary, and Cecilia, son; James (1994), husband; William (2011), and daughter; Bettejean (2017). Bridget will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.

Further arrangements will be made for the late Bridget and William Spelts’ final resting place located in New Westminster, BC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rudolf Peters and the staff at St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital for their kind and compassionate care over the past 3 years
