It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bryan Reginald Hird on March 25, 2024, at the age of 74. Born to loving parents, Reginald and Gladys Hird, Bryan was preceded in death by both.

Bryan was the beloved brother of Catherine (Cathy) Pierce and David Hird, who have both passed before him. Bryan leaves behind a legacy cherished by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a circle of family members and friends profoundly touched by his life.

His passion for all types of trucks, from pickups to semi-trucks, brought much joy to his life. Bryan found freedom and solace in the open road beneath the wheels of his big rig. Beyond his love for the road, Bryan savored the simple pleasures of life, especially a good meal, reflecting his appreciation for the world around him.

Those who knew Bryan will remember him as a sweet, soft- spoken man who exuded kindness, a sense of humour, and patience in every aspect of his life. He faced life's challenges without complaint, carrying a gentle spirit that touched the hearts of those around him.

As we bid "till we meet again" to Bryan, we honor a life profoundly lived and hold dear the memories that continue to inspire us.

We invite friends, family, and those touched by Bryan to join in celebrating his legacy and sharing the stories that capture the essence of a man whose presence was a testament to the goodness in the world.

Rest in peace, Bryan. Your spirit, love, and memories are forever etched in our hearts.

  1. I met Bryan almost 10 years ago when he was a customer at the store I work at. We developed a quick friendship that has been so meaningful to me over the years. I will miss you Bryan, thank you for being a kind and great friend! Sending love and condolences to his family and friends.
