Carmela Sorgiovanni nee’ Foriglio
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Carmela Sorgiovanni nee’ Foriglio, Monday, January 23, 2023 at the age of 97 years.
Left to cherish and honour her memory are her children: Leopoldo (Michelina), Felice, Giuseppe (Anna), Franco (Lisa), and Santo (Rosaria); grandchildren: Yolanda (Tom) Ippolito, Patrizia (Mark), Sandra, Carmela, Francesco, Roberto (Lin), Daniele (Veronica), Michael, Christine, Christopher, Jonathan, Sarah (Tchadas) Leo, and Rachelle; great grandchildren, Michael, Matteo, Giuliana, Valentina, Isabelle, Ruby, Vincent, Koah, and Dominic; sisters, Michelina, Giuseppina and Serafina, all of Italy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Carmela was predeceased by her loving husband, Antonio; parents, Felice and Rosamarina; grandson, Antonio, and 6 siblings.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Unit 3200 at Extendicare Eaux Claires for the compassion and kindness they showed to Carmela.
