It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Chad Vincent Kibermanis on Sept 29th, 2021 at the age of 44. Chad’s memory will live on through his parents John and Marlene, his sons Cole and Laine, brother Chris and sister-in-law Candace, nieces Brooklyn, Mckenna, Sloane, and countless other relatives and friends.

The family has decided to forgo a formal funeral service. Instead, Chad’s ashes will be spread with his Grandfather’s ashes at a future date.

In lieu of any flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Second Animal Rescue Society using the link below. We also encourage everyone to share a favourite memory of Chad in the online guest book.

  9. Navigating through the loss of a loved one permeates such sorrow and sadness. My heart and soul aches during this phase of grief. However, I must remind myself of the times your son brought tremendous joy, happiness and laughter to our friendship. He brought much comfort to me when we spoke as I did to him. Our coffee talks would encapsulate our views on life along with our personal struggles. We would remind each other of the trust we had with each other.

    Your son was full of compassion, knowledge, kind and cared deeply for the ones close to him. Please take solace in knowing that our friendship was true. I will cherish the memories.

    May the road rise up to meet you.

    May the wind be always at your back.

    May the sun shine warm upon your face;

    May the rains fall softly upon your fields and until we meet again,

    May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

    Love always,
    Jody

  27. I have so many fond memories of Chad from our school days, and after Sturgeon when he was renting a condo a floor down from me on 105 street. Friday evenings everyone would decend upon Kiber’s place for a weekly bs session, lots of laughs, and card games.

    Around this time, my ex got into the habit of showing up late at night, banging on my door, pleading for me to open the door. When Chad heard that this was going on, he told me to call him the next time the ex showed up. A week later Chad made good on his promise when my ex showed up… Chad bounded up the stairs, 3 at a time, and made it very clear to my ex that he was not to bother me again… and it worked. He never approached me again.

    That was Chad to a T… heart of gold, wanting to offer protection and support to those in need. The world is a colder place without him.

    • Thank you so much Lindsay for the kind words.❤️

  28. So sorry to hear about Chad. I always enjoyed chatting with him about our shared passion for dogs. Sending love to his parents and family xo

    • Thank you.

  29. To Kip, Marlene, Chris and family
