Christopher Mark Coram, age 62, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on June 17, 2026, after a two-year battle with cancer. Born February 3, 1964, in Chelmsford, UK, Chris emigrated at 10 years of age to Canada with his parents, Bernard and Nanette, and his siblings Jennifer and Tim. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and a Masters of Science from the University of Toronto with a focus on Physics and Mathematics.

In 1987 Chris met Bonnie Robertson at Knox Presbyterian Church College and Careers group in Toronto; they married in 1989, moved to Edmonton in 1993, and raised three children: Rebecca, Angela, and Jeremy. He treasured time with his family and recently delighted in moments with his granddaughter Anaya. He was remembered for his loyalty, dependable nature, quiet humor, and steadfast dedication as a father and husband.

Chris built a distinguished career as a data analyst and project scientist with Can Polar, EBA, and Tetra Tech, where his intelligence, curiosity, and methodical approach made him a valued colleague and mentor. He took pride in solving complex problems, enjoyed sharing knowledge with younger team members, and was known for quietly seeing projects through to success. Outside work he loved computers, travelling, logic puzzles, and spending time with family. He also followed sports passionately — a devoted Edmonton Oilers fan.

A man of deep faith, Chris had a solid trust in Jesus Christ that began at an early age, inspiring a steady commitment to serve others with humility and compassion. His faith granted him calm resolve in hardship, delight in time spent with family, and a quiet confidence that shaped how he loved, led, and lived each day. Chris and Bonnie were members of Steele Heights Baptist Church for 32 years.
